How does judging work

Follow
All design100 programs have a three tiered rating model that is unique in award programs. We are one the few programs in the world that acknowledge and recognise the importance of both design practitioners and those who commission and consume design.

Advisory Panel
It all starts with the establishment of an Advisory Panel chosen from professionals practice design as well as those who commission design. Their role is to ensure that the program complies to the highest standards.

Judging Panel
Judges are selected for experience and expertise in a certain field. Their aim is to select the work that displays the best practice or answers a brief in the most surprising and relevant manner.

The public
We then allow the public to rate projects. We feel this an important step as design cannot exist without those who commission and consume design. One cannot exist without the other.
